Are the services Dr. Papolos provides reimbursable through insurance?
The services provided by Dr. Papolos are reimbursable through your insurance coverage. Dr. Papolos bills clients directly. Each bill includes the necessary information required by insurance companies. These bills can then be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement.
Dr. Papolos does not belong to any managed care plans, and therefore will be considered an “out-of-network” provider.
How do I find out how much my insurance company will reimburse me for your service?
If you would like to find out how much your insurance carrier will reimburse you, we recommend calling the company and asking them how much they will reimburse for the specific service you are seeking (i.e. psychiatric diagnostic consultation – extended ).
In determining how much you will be reimbursed, be sure to ask them the percentage of the doctor’s fees they will reimburse, if there is a deductible, and what their maximum allowable is.
